Soy milk tastes like cardboard!

Bee coz I...have decided to try soy on my porridge I have had to put banana in it everyday to disguise the taste - now I'm almost over banana's. I had real A2 light milk last night and boy I felt like I was licking an ice cream. So I will keep trying soy, or maybe I'll give almond milk ago next week and just have cows milk every now and then!

Had a busy day in work and had to work a little late, it was thunder and lightening so I wouldn't have done the lake anyway. Lucky I ran 3km at the gym in the morning so I still got something in.

There is a fun run on the horizon!

Bee coz I...have booked in to do my first fun run I am trying to squeeze a run in 3 times a week. Fitting walks with friends, work, kids, Zumba and running in is a bit of a challenge but I'm doing my best.

I'm sleeping like a baby at night going to bed early and sleeping until 6am which is really good for me, I usualy wake up between 4.45am and 5.14am - to may years of taking Billy to swimming!

A fire at the lake!

Bee coz I....did a 30min run this morning I had a nice big lunch, it was all healthy as that's hummus in the pot and a new brand of health bar that I would score 6/10 for!

Got to the lake tonight and the gate was shut as they were controlled burning in the area. We didn't go home, we just walked the opposite way around as we could get part way round without bumping into the fire :)

Legs are sore but that's to be expected x bee

I did it!

Bee coz I....ran (well jogged) around the lake (6.1km) yesterday I am feeling it today!

I had set the goal to do it before my birthday and decided to give it a go yesterday, I tried everything to talk myself out of it but when I found myself sitting in the car at the lake I knew I was going to give it a decent shot!

It was hard but a bit easier than I expected and I was so overwhelmed when I saw my car at the finish that I felt like crying. I had to sit for 5 mins before I could do my cool down and stretches.

Next time I do it I might not do Zumba two hours earlier!

Walked the lake this morning and went to the hydro pool for some recovery work.

Well I'm off to bed now to catch up on some TV night night x Bee x

A catch up at the pool

Bee coz I...went to the pool last night with Jorja, my friend Caro and some of her 8 kids it was a quick dinner on the run!

Jorja had a sleepover but I dropped her back home early so I could go to Zumba. It was very humid and today was the first day that I felt my lungs were not working as good as usual but that's the first time in a long while. Got through the class which is good and I am thinking of trying to jog the lake before of hots up later next week!

I'm sure I can do it but I get there and it seems impossible! It's all in my head and I have to beat it.

Busy week

Bee coz I...had visitors over from Tassie, it's been a crazy week.

They were only here for a few days but I decided to clear out the spare room before they arrived.

Food wise I have eaten and drunk more than I should so the scales didn't move this week, it could have been worse but choosing the healthiest option on the menu helped!

It is starting to get cooler in the mornings now so it's soup and porridge back on the menu - yum

Done a few laps of the lake with various peeps, hung out with Mucker, worked and that's about it for the week!

I am trying to run the whole lake but have only made it to the half way make so far. I'm trying to do it by my birthday - I think I can...I think I can....I think I can!

Evaporated cooling system is GO!

Bee coz I....was hit by a bout of food poisoning or gastro on Tuesday my food record is not worth recording - all I can say is thank god for hydralite!

In better news Billy's dad Rod cranked up the cooler for us. It works like a treat! Needless to say the weather has got significantly cooler - always the way :)

Gearing up for visitors on the weekend so might be having to miss Zumba unless I get my arse into gear and get the housework and shopping done today. Wonder how many calories you burn doing housework?
