Day 121 - ? Kg's to go!

Bee coz I....just realised I didn't hop on the scales yesterday or today I will have to remember tomorrow first thing.

Had a great day in work, the aircon in work is working well so it was a nice temp inside all day!

Got a turkey and salad sandwich for lunch and it was huge! I've got a big mouth but I had to squish it down to eat it!

Zumba was awesome but very hot! I danced like a butterfly, drank like a fish, and sweated like a pig!

I'm off for a cold shower - night Bee

Bfast: all bran and grain bar.
Lunch: big turkey and salad sandwich and a yoghurt.
Dinner: teriaki chicken and brown rice.

Day 120 - even the duckies were looking for shade!

Bee coz I... Wanted to get a run in today I set out at 7am! It was a hard run with a warm wind and sore foot! I changed my route to try and keep in the shade, finished my cool down walking around a little lake, then stretched and sat under a tree and drank 1lt of water!

Did some shopping then home for a little rest before going out to pump, the gym was nice and cool!

Spent the arvo with Connie looking for a new couch for her place then home to chill out! Best thing about 40oC days are that when you get out the shower you just stand there for 5 mins and your dry! Bonus!

Day 119 - a trip to Gold Class

Bee coz I ...discovered lean beef burgers at the local shops I whipped Billy and I Mc Barbs for lunch, I put spinach and carrot with a bit of feta! They were delish and very filling.

Then it was out to Gold Class with Mucker to see a movie, it was very nice, it's a cinema where there is only 26 people all in recliners and you order food and drinks that the bring to you mid movie! The movie was good too!

We are going to be in for a hot week this week so I'll have to get my jog in early this week! I think I am catching up with Connie tomorrow so will probably spend the arvo in the pool!

Day 118 - Huston we have a problem!

Bee coz I....am busy picking glass Christmas balls out of my foot, this will be short!

I stood on a stray Christmas decoration and bits went into my foot! Hurt like mad, lucky I am tuff! End of story Bee x x

Day 117 - an effortless lunch!

Bee coz I....was organised yesterday I didn't have to cook the main meal today my slow cooker did a fine job! Billy loved it - don't tell him there were lots of sprouts in it!

I finished the couch to 5km program today. I must say I can't believe I have done it. I a qualified real jogger now! Woo hoo. Also did Zumba with the energizer bunny again today, it was more fun as we knew some of the moves this time around.

Well back to work tomorrow and out to a gig tomorrow night so it's an early one for me x Bee x

Bfast : diet shake and fruit
Lunch: hot pot and toast with a yoghurt
Dinner: subway- chicken teriyaki with salad
Snack: snack right fruit pillows 2.

Day 116 - an unexpected visitor

Bee coz I....scored Jorja for the day I left the rest of the clothes sorting out until after she went home! I am pleased to report I have one sorted cupboard and a small chest of draws just dedicated to gym stuff :)

Put a slow cook on so tomorrow I will not have to cook the main meal of the day. Got to love that.

Think I will spend the day relaxing tomorrow, I have to go and get my eye phone looked at as the button is sticking- hope they don't take it off me to fix it, I will be lost without it and might have to fire up the big computer to check my mail and blog! Fingers crossed x Bee x

Day 115 - a new wardrobe!

Bee coz I.... Was starting to lose track of what fits and what does not fit, I had a tryonathon! I have enough clothes that fit now to clear out those that don't .
I have been given some clothes, bought some sales items in the regular stores, eBay and charity shopping and have redone my wardrobe on the cheap. I have my current size and the next size down sorted. As long as work are still happy for me to wear my jeans (we all were jeans at work as we are youth services) I will only need to get one pair of black pants if needed but kmart always stock black pants and are 24 hr so I won't buy them until I need to.

There is a bit more colour in my wardrobe these days!

Day 114 - 2kg's to go!

Bee coz I.... Forgot to weigh in yesterday I did it this morning! Another kilo gone for a hike! Nice one.

Had a great day today, got some pants from a work mate who has lost weight too so she has passed them on to me! They are two sizes down but I'll get there!

Zumba was funny tonight, we had a fill in instructor. We knew we were in trouble when she said she was a Latin dance instructor, she had the music so fast that we did about 12 tracks instead of 8! It was a good class. I think she was running on energizer batteries!

Day 113 - a PJ day

Bee coz I....like to, and don't get the chance very often, I declared today a PJ day. Which means I stay home all day and do zip! Well I did some chores and cooking but all in my Jim jams.

But best of all I played Little Big Planet 2 for way to long today!

Well back to work tomorrow then another 3 days off! Life's hard when your loving it :) Bee

Day 112 - hanging with Jorja

Bee coz I....got to have Jorja today we did lots of good things, played at the park, shopping had a little dance party then Jorja went for a mega nap and ate a huge dinner. After all that we took Leo for a big walk, Jorja and Leo loved it!

First thing this morning I did Zumba we all put in money for the floods, it was a good turn out!

Well I am off to play little big planet2 before Billy comes home and takes over the playstation.

Day 111 - I love beans

Bee coz I....love baked beans I was not tempted at work to joint in with the Friday takeaway lunch. Today it was nando's but I was happy with my toasted Ham and tomato sandwich with. Beans on top!

Went for a jog after work and was very proud to see that I covered just over 5km. It was quite warm too.

Well up early for a fundraiser at the gym for the floods, I will be doing Zumba and body balance.

Day 110 - hi ho hi ho

Bee coz I....have not seen every one in 4 weeks they all noticed how much weight I had lost which was nice! And the lads were well impressed with my jogging abilities. It was a great day.

I remembered to water my veggies then remembered they are all self watering- woops!

Tonight I did pump and Zumba and I am worn out! So it's of to bedfordshire I go, nighty night - Bee x z

Day 109 - Wednesday walks

Bee coz I....dreamt I ran a marathon last night, I woke up tired. My legs were aching too. I did some stretches and that helped. Maybe I didn't to enough stretching after my last jog.

You will be pleased to know I got my eyebrows done so I am ready now for work tomorrow.

Wednesday walks are back on again, Jane and her family are back from there holiday to the USA. The all had a great time and Harry potter world sounds great!

Day 108 - tatty head

Bee coz I.... Have messy long hair I often have to drench it in conditioner and leave it for an hour then rinse it off. So yesterday it was my face today it was my hair! I'm back to work on Thursday so I have to de feral and start looking like I have not been dragged through a bush backwards!

Today I also went op shopping got some great bargains so now I have clothes for work too!

Tomorrow I'll get my eyebrows waxed then I will be ready to face the world.
I can't wait to get back to work - I really love my job.

First thing this morning I went for a jog around the lake. I really pushed myself hard to get further around the lake on the second lap. It worked I must have jogged faster because I got further than two days ago, unfortunately my distance and speed gps on my c25k app didn't work. I was disappointed not to be able to see how far I got! Guess at least I have a physical land mark to measure it against.

Well off to rinse the gunk out of my locks so nigh night - Bee

Day 107 - planting out!

Bee coz I.... Like growing a few veggies and herbs I spent the morning organizing the veggie box I got for Christmas. It will be good to because the price of veggies are set to rise due to the floods all over Australia.

I planted basil, chives, silver-beat, spinach, parsley, lettuce and in another 2 plant boxes I did carrots and gooseberries.

Spent the arvo chilling and I did a face mask. Little bit of pampering is a good thing.

Off to Zumba tonight!

Day 106 - 3kg's to go!

Bee coz I....tried to do the couch to 5 k's program about a year ago and could not get past the first level without cheating, I decided to go back to where I used to try it and see how I go. It is a lake with a track around it and is 2.5 km round trip. It was funny to jog past all the spots I used to have to stop at! I made it round 1 2/3 before doing a cool down. I even walked back on my tracks to walk the long way back to the car!

I was very proud to see that my twin brother started the C25K program this morning, he is now running on my favorite road, the road where I did my first ever 20min jog. I am sure he will jog faster than I do in a few weeks but next time I am over we might go for a jog together, I would really love that!

Went shopping this arvo with Connie it was my first time shopping in the regular section for about 14 years, boy was there more options and bargains in that section. Got two tops, a pair of jeans and jogging pants. One of the tops I got as a size down and I hope to wear for my birthday or next time I go to Tassie, things like that motivate me.

Came home and dyed a pair of jeans that I bought in a sale that never fit (still had the tags on) they were way to light but bootleg cut, I got them about 13 years ago. They look great now you would never know!

Day 105 - a day in the garden!

New coz I .... Ordered 2 cubic meters of tanbark I spent most of the day in the garden. I knew it was going to be hard when the delivery guy said, your brave moving all this wet tanbark by yourself! Clearly I didn't think about the fact that it has rained for five days, the bright side was I burned more calories (I hope). I also drank 3 liters of water while doing it! When I had finished I mowed the lawns then crashed! Bet I feel it in the morning.

Day 104 - rain rain go away!

Bee coz I....only have an iPhone as a camera this pic is not very good, but I just wanted to give you an idea of what water is around. This is the water coming off the roof. The garden is so soggy. Day 5 of the rain.

Had a great day doing nothing really, I bathed the dog coz he was getting a bit on the nose, only to realize with 97% humidity I had wet wooly dog smell all day, as he is no shedding he smells like a sheep when wet. Pheweee!

Billy went out for the day so it was nice just hanging around by myself.

Then Mucker came over and I stayed up way to late!

Day 103 - it's still raining!

Bee coz I .... Need to go to bed this post will be a short one, had fun at the pool today with Jorja and Tracy then went op shopping and picked up a pair of jeans and shoes for $12 not bad!

Then popped to the tip to get some tan bark for the garden but we were out of luck as they didn't have any.
Pump and Zumba was good tonight but now I am stuffed!

Day 102 - wild weather continues

Bee coz I.... Drove to Philip Island for a school mates funeral (2 hrs away) today was a different kind of day. I got to the island two hours early so took the chance to go for a walk at the Nobbies. The weather held off which was good.

I took the slow route home as the weather was closing in and it's easier to stick to the freeways in the wet!

Floods are still getting worse in Qld with minor flooding in Victoria and other States. Fingers crossed that people stay safe - Bee

Day 101 - hot and sticky day

Bee coz I ....am still on holiday from work I took advantage of the gym daytime classes! I went to pump and body balance. Pump was great - upped my weights, then body balance was funny because it was a class for the 65+ members, they let me stay lol I hope the guys at the front desk who gave me the class pass don't really think I am 65!

Watched the news all afternoon! Floods in Queensland are bad, then fires in Perth! Thoughts with them all!

Went for a run in the rain because it's going to get worse over the next few days! It was hot, sticky and wet! Much harder to jog but I enjoyed the challenge. I can now jog 30 strait.

Followed that up with deep water running then came home and had a bath and went to bed. A good day all round - Bee

Day 100 - Woo Hoo

Be Coz I....have made it to day 100, i had a treat tonight it was a lindt chocolate ball (just one) it was horrid lol, just tasted like chocolate with butter in the middle ah well, i wont miss chocolate for another few months now. i just didn't want to pick something that i would want more of! well that theory worked.

i have to do a jog tomorrow and it going to be 28 minutes with no breaks, i am actually looking forward to it! even though its going to be 26oC and raining = sticky.

I think Connie is getting back on track, she went to Zumba on Sat but i missed it as i was working out - gardening. Hopefully we will see her back at deep water tomorrow!

Jorja's mum Tracy came back for round two of Zumba tonight - she did so well, i think she is going to join up! woo hoo.

well nothing much to report other wise, quite a boring post for my day 100 really. I'll try harder on day 200 ;0) Bee

Day 99 - 4kg to go!

Bee coz I.... Normally weigh in on a Sunday and my last weigh in was only Wednesday due to me being in Tassie, I was surprised to see good loss!

Zumba, I am convinced that's the key!

Had a great day today, another few hrs in the garden, walk with the hound, and then I took myself to the movies and saw "Little Fockers" it was funny. I love going to the movies by myself not sure why, I know most people wouldn't but I do.

I stayed up to late chatting to Mucker but fell asleep around midnight (hence this being done this am) and at 3 am my 16 year old knocked on my door to ask where is phone charger was and could I get it for him! He was surprised that I was a bit annoyed at being woken up! For the record I didn't go find it for him.

Day 98 - a beautiful day

Bee coz I....put 3 hrs in the garden today I skipped Zumba and did a jog instead. The garden looks a bit better for it!

Spent the afternoon at a good friends pool it was very relaxing, her daughter and daughters playmate entertained us with a ballet/ synchronized swimming routine - too cute!

My run was great today first time doing 25 mins here in melb, it was hot, windy and I had to dodge a few falling tree branches (always a hazard with gum trees and wind in summer)

It has been another great day - Bee

Day 97 - a little bit of everything

Bee coz I ... Popped in to work today to send of a report I got to catch up with my work mates which was nice.

Then I did a spot of gardening 2 hrs and then cooked a hot dinner on a hot day - not so good planning, but it was nice.

Hung out with Connie and Steve after dinner then had a relatively early night as another few hours gardening is planned and I wanted to get out before the heat of the day kicks in.

Day 96 - war wound!

Bee coz I .... Had to literally jump into a ditch the other day while jogging in Tassie to avoid a car that was heading strait at me (and I had no where to go) I got a big bruise just above my knee! It does not hurt but It looks good :)

Spent the day having a shiatsu then did a little gardening, then the best part of the day was going back to Zumba! Boy have I missed my Zumba, I had a great night.

Day 95 - 5.5 kgs to go!

Bee coz I .... Am realistic I set myself a goal of loosing 1 kg over the holiday break - while I was away. I figure my exercise would be at least halved for the two and a bit weeks, plus I wanted to have a few Christmas treats.

The jogging every second day, walking and snorkeling all payed off my goal was achieved! I must admit, it was the first time I have felt nervous going on the scales.
As a treat I went out to the aquarium and had a nice afternoon in the city, then caught up with Connie and her family and picked Leo (the dog) up!

Day 94 - last day in Tassie

Bee coz I.... Am flying back to Victoria tonight this will be a quick post, I still have to finish packing, check in on line etc.

Spent the morning at the aquatic centre with my brother, nephew Alex and his cousin Miss T.

Mum was watching us all have fun!

We had fun with the water jets and even more fun with the waterslide. Little Alex wanted to go down but Ian was to chicken ( he will dive with sharks but won't go down the waterslide!) Auntie Bee to the rescue ( I am now a waterslide pro!)

Day 92 - snorkeling

Bee coz I.... Love snorkeling my brother and I went snorkeling at a place called Tinderbox. We have done a lot of snorkeling this trip, this pic is from Christmas day, I used my new wet suite for the first time at tinderbox and it was great. Also did a spot of kayaking too.

I will post some of my brothers pics in the next post.

Day 91 - happy new year!

Be coz I ....like prawns it seemed a good way to start the new year off!

Had a nice lunch with the family and then chilled for the rest of the day. Hopefully we will be off snorkeling tomorrow!
