Day 29 - 14kgs to go!

Bee Coz I….could, I started the day out laying in bed with the curtains open (don’t worry I have nets!) watching the rain, I love it when its warm and raining, its all a bit tropical!
I also changed my about me on the blog, then checked in on facebook, all is well with the facebook world except my UK friends and family thought their X-factor was crap and a friend needs more something or other for her farm in Farmville!
Then it was time to get up! Well it wasn’t really I was just fed up laying there! And off for the weekly weigh in (In my bathroom) and another kilo bites the dust! My goal at the gym was to knock off six kg’s by Christmas using a .5 kg weekly loss as an average, so that’s one goal done with a few weeks spare! So I’ll try for another 4kg’s by Christmas (in 7 week – its doable!)
Headed off to Ikea today with Tracy and Jorja, had a great day! I got lots of new dinner plates and bowls for $1 each, I have been looking for ages and finally got what I wanted for such a cheap price I got 16 of everything. Jorja had fun playing in the draws at Ikea and we stopped for a treat, Jorja had a vegemite roll and tart, Tracy had a gorgeous looking choc chip muffin (see background of pic!) I
had an organic apple, grapefruit and raspberry fruit juice, it was nice and tart!
Visited Connie this arvo, her scales are broke so not sure if she lost this week but she had a busy week and is still eating healthy.
Well I am going to have a chilaxing afternoon and watch a movie!
Have a good night – Bee

B’fast: chicken on toast
Snack: Apple and Fruit Juice
Lunch: salmon on toast with phili.
Dinner: homemade pita pizzas of the none disaster variety!

Day 28 - a dog of a day!

Bee Coz I….am always buying jeans to big I was talked into buying the next pair to tight as jeans always stretch a bit, they are actually denim long cargo shorts. Anyway, I was told to wear them around the house for a bit to loosen them up, well I got them on and done up but sitting down in them could be an issue! I will see how I go but I think I will have to wait a few more kilos for a public outing in them!
I have gone down a full size in tops and most pants so I have been buying new (second hand) clothes to tide me over incase I go down another size by the end of my goal. Its much, much cheaper than buying new!
I discovered the stats part of this blog, I have had visitors from UK, USA, CANADA, ISLE OF MAN, AUSTRALIA, GERMANY                 and the NETHERLANDS! Not bad hay!
Leo all set for summer!
It was a busy day today and took a lot of coordination and I didn’t quite pull it off, I wanted to squeeze all three classes in the morning but after I did Zumba – which was awesome I have not sweated so much since I was on a bus in India when I was 6 or was that Singapore when I was 10? Anyway I had a 1 hr gap to get the dog to the dog wash and clip but they wanted to keep him for an hour and a half and I only had 30 mins between water and body balance, I’m not quite a tri-athlete yet so I just wasn’t going to work! Then I went o pick him up and he was not ready because the clippers had come off and taken a bit too much off his head so I say to go shorter to match then he won’t need doing until after Christmas, so didn’t make it to Bodybalance or IKEA but I did go back to the gym! Ah well 1 class and the gym is still stella!
Well better go as its time to cook dinner, I’m saving my treat for tomorrow because I forgot to buy myself a sat night treat!
Nigh night Bee

B’fast: cereal
Lunch: chicken avo and lettuce roll
Dinner: veggies & chicken breast

Day 27 - start of a long weekend

Bee Coz I….am such a goodie two shoes I sent my assignments in for the first module of my diploma only 4 weeks early! I wanted to get it out of the way so I would have a carefree LONG weekend; I have Mon and Tues off! So cue the bad weather!
I am not going to the gym tonight as its my day off from exercise, I really want to go but its good to have a day of rest for your body, although Connie just messaged me to see if I want to go to the local club for a boogie so I guess that will be an incidental work out if we end up going.
Another great day in work today and I had a very yummy lunch, it was nice going out at lunchtime in the sunshine to pick it up! Pity horrid weather in on the way I would have loved another warm few days!
Big day on tomorrow with three classes at the gym planned, a dog to drop off at the doggie clip and wash place (hmmm not sure what you call it?) between classes, then home for a quick shower, change of clothes then off to Ikea, cant wait!
Better go and iron my dress for if we are going out!
Byeeeeeeeeeeeee – Bee

B’fast: avo sandwich on multi grain bread.
Lunch: chicken vermicelli
Dinner: diet shake (just fancied it!)
Snack: pita bread and dried figs (not together lol)

Day 26 - I was tempted!

Bee Coz I….have been doing so well on my health kick I have decided that when I hit the 10kg mark I will treat myself to goldclass! (posh movies where you can order drinks and meals and you sit in a recliner chair) I can’t wait!
Today I was tempted to eat a Sherbie I even put it in my mouth but it tasted like sugar and water so I spat it out in the bin! If I am going to blow some calories being naughty it may as well be something I like! lol
I had fun at water aerobics last night and am pleased to report that my board shorts that were too tight for me on day one are now lose enough to fall down! Don’t worry I had a one piece on under them lol had to take my hair elastic out and tie the front of my pants with it to keep them up! It was very funny.
Bought some new trackies from Harris Scarf today only $14 a pair so I got two, I also bought two new tops there were too tight on me but if I keep going may fit in time for Christmas, if not by my birthday in Feb, my money is on Christmas!
Zumba was awesome tonight we did two extra tracks, half the class was happy the other half were moaning, I was of course in the happy category.
Well I have worked hard this week and I am looking forward to my day off the gym tomorrow, the most exercise I will get will be walking to my car lol
Have a good night – Bee

B’fast: chick on toast
Lunch: Soup, Pita Bread, banana yoghurt and nuts
Dinner: tuna pasta

Day 25 - Disaster Pizzas

Bee Coz I….ended up going to deep water last night, I slept like a log, it was a hard class to do with a head full and not being able to breathe through my nose, but I did my best and felt better for it. It was funny though because we had the fill in instructor again who ran a really hard class last week, there are usually 20 or so people in the class and she told us last week she was filling in for two weeks and only 7 people turned up and 3 of those were not here last week, so the four of us were proud that we had turned up! The rest must have been scared of hard work.
Had a great day today doing emergency response training we had a mock up relief centre set up and got to run through some things that worked and things that didn’t, it was great!
Jane couldn’t walk with me tonight as her beautiful girls have a concert so I am going to the hard instructors water aerobics class tonight then Bodybalance.
My dinner was a disaster, it was to be a repeat of last night as I had to use all the leftovers up, well the fridge was turned up to high and my zucchini froze, I dropped my mushrooms on the floor and the dog ate them, so I just had pizzas with haloumi, ham and carrot (that’s all I had) it was different to say the least, my yoghurt was nice and frozen too.
Off to tread some water and stretch some muscles bye for now – Bee

B’fast: sultana bran
Lunch: mixed sandwiches, fruit and a little bit of cheese on water crackers
Dinner: disaster Pita Pizzas and frozen yoghurt, 1/2 a pomie.

Day 24 - full of snot

Bee Coz I…am full to the brim with snot I have come home from work today. I normally work with a cold but I have so much pressure in my head that it hurts! I look all puffy in the sinus area.

Came home and had a bit of a sleep and my head felt a bit better, then I went down to the shops about 3pm as it was sunny out and I thought it would do me good and wanted to get some lemsip, wondered around aimlessly then decided to get my eyebrows waxed, well my head was already hurting so I thought why not! Funny enough when I left the salon my foggy head had lifted not sure if it was the oil they were burning or the blood rushing to my eyebrows that shifted the sinus pain! Walked up to Kmart and wondered around the shop feeling much better, ignored the weird looks I was getting, I knew I looked like a Clingon with red marks around my eyebrows!
Came home and made some homemade healthy pizza on whole meal pita bread and sat and read it in the sun. Don’t think I will make it to deep water tonight as I don’t think I can breathe through my nose well enough so I might have a night off.

-          Bee
B’fast: toast and fruit.
Lunch: Sultana bran (yes I know it’s a b’fast food!)
Dinner: homemade pita pizzas with haluomi and prosciutto (made the spelling up – I think) and a pomegranate.

Day 23 - i'm stuffed

Bee Coz I…love my bed – that’s where I am posting from tonight, I did three hours at the gym tonight, Zumba, gym and Bodybalance, it was a bit too much! Won’t be able to walk tomorrow!
Ah well never mind- a pain free life is over rated!
I really have nothing to say tonight so I’ll use pictures….
Didn't Eat!

Did eat!

-          Bee
B’fast: sultana bran
Lunch: pea wack, toast, nuts and yoghurt.
Dinner: tuna sandwich, 4 figs

Day 22 - 15kg to go!

Bee Coz I….have worked hard, ignored the rum and raisin chocolate that is still sitting on my dressing table I have lost another kilo. I was surprised to have a loss this week after last week’s 3kg, so I was thrilled to see the scales move.
Today has been a crazy one, made the most of the sun and did a few loads of washing, nice to get it in and out all in one day!
Went to Bodybalance instead off the gym, felt I needed a good stretch. Then I went to catch up with Connie who has been out of action for the week, but still broke even weight wise so that’s good.
Made a crazy choice for lunch today with Jalna drinking yoghurt, strawbs and prunes, but I ate to many prunes and had a cleansing afternoon to say the least! Ah well you live and learn!
Had a chillaxing arvo and planning an early night to night.
Something funny happened in Bodybalance, I got the giggles in the relaxation section, the instructor said “breath in through your tail bone” spent the whole time trying not to laugh!
Well I have run out of things to say so it’s over and out – Bee

B’fast: porridge
Lunch: jalna drinking yoghurt, strawbs, prunes and a banana.
Dinner: chicken and spinach on toast.

Day 21: last night of the Bill

Bee Coz I….woke up with a 10c coin stuck to my arm I decided it was a lucky sign for the day and it was! On the way back from Zumba and Bodybalace I called in to the supermarket to get some food in for the weekend, the yoghurts I like were half price so I stocked up, the salad was reduced and so was two other things I got! Nice!
My body is a bit sore today so I just did the two classes. I worked out that if I had to pay the casual rate for all the classes I did at the gym I would have paid $103.50! Luckily I have a membership.
I got a spot of housework in before having a chilaxing arvo doing very little! Then I decided to make a healthy smoothie for dinner!
Step 1) get the ingredients

]
Step 2) blend 2 vitabrits, 300 ml of skinny milk and 1 banana.

Step 3) drink!

Just for the record, it tasted crap!

It was the last night of the Bill tonight, I’ve watched it for 26 years, what am I going to watch on a sat night now?

November, india, golf, hotel, tango – Bee

B’fast: cereal and fruit.
Lunch: salad
Dinner: smoothie, nuts,
Sat night treat:  Turkish Delight and 2 boiled sweets.

Day 20 - a little truffle

Bee Coz I….am a good mum, I had to talk one for the team. My son had cooking today and made tiny truffles he brought the smallest one home for me to taste (he ate the rest at school) he said its only small mum it ok, I ate it and it was nice. Then I mowed the garden so I guess I burned it off anyway!
Had a great week in work this week but looking forward to the weekend, think I will do Zumba and body balance tomorrow, I will miss water  as Connie is not going and i think two classes in one day is enough.
Did I say my brother is in Egypt at the moment, diving in the red sea! He is a photographer and will be probably doing a book about it when he gets back! The man has talent!
Well I am off to babysit little miss, so ta ta for now chucks – Bee
B’fast: veggie mite on linseed
Lunch: soup and salad sandwich
Dinner: whole meal crackers with tuna, blueberries – not as many as I had hoped as little miss helped me to east them! And a yoghurt.

Friday, October 22, 2010

Day 19 - Another fabo day!

Bee Coz I….love Zumba almost as much as I love Bodybalance, I have really started to look forward to Monday and Thursday nights, the class on Thurs nights are very funny, we work really hard but have a laugh too, and the instructor always throws in at least one extra track. I trialed doing half my gym session before Zumba up to the cardio and then raced across to Zumba, I felt a bit stuffed but I would do it again, so it was 30mins in gym, plus Zumba. I can feel my fitness increasing.
I was thinking about Christmas this year, we are going to stay on a fav. Family location, Bruny Island of the coast of Hobart, my brother and son will be doing lots of sea kayaking , I might have a little go but I am scared of sharks so I will be sticking close to the coast, if I get the courage to have a go!
Will have to test to see if I can blog from my iphone as I might be missing in action or have to post a few days later over xmas.
Well that’s it from me so night night – Bee

B’fast: soy and linseed toast and fruit and veggie juice.
Lunch: spinach and chick pea soup (hmmm wasn’t the best!) diet yoghurt and salad sandwich.
Dinner: 2 sushi hand rolls (yum!)

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Day 18 - a wednesday walk.

Bee Coz I….love the TV show Survivor I woke up early so I could watch it on line, it did not disappoint.
Had a great day in work today, I love my job! Finished the work day close to home so it was nice to home just after 5pm.
Cooked dinner then off to my friend Jane’s to go for a walk, Jane is Muckers sister but she falls well and truly into the good influence category in my life! We had planned to walk the last two Wednesdays but the weather had other plan so it was nice to finally kick off our spring walking season. There is a big hill at the start of the walk, which is good because it really gets your heart going. I love walking with Jane as we chat away it walk goes so fast!
Then I raced off to Bodybalance. Jane had introduced me to a new drink called Hint, lemon flavor, it went down well in Bodybalace, and I managed not to fall asleep in the relaxation track at the end so it was another good night! Then it was home to bed!
Bonne nuit mes frends – Bee
B’fast: crackers and philli
Lunch: steamed dumplings (discussing!)
Dinner: steamed broccoli with hoi sin sauce and cheese and pickles on toast.
Snacks: mango and strawbs, three crackers with thin layer of cheese.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010

Day 17 -spring is back!

Bee coz I….was up past my bedtime last night I was a bit tired getting up this morning.
I had a visit from my bad influence, my mucker (scouse for mate/friend), although last night I stuck to the diet coke and I offered him chocolate (rum and raisin) and he said no because he didn’t want to tempt me! Watched some Under belly (first series) it was great, as always I was a great hostess and fell asleep ah well, I need my beauty sleep!
Really enjoyed the course today and the sun was out so I had a nice stroll through the park at lunchtime. It was like spring had found us again and all the wild flowers were out to play.
Deep Water was great tonight because our usual instructor was away and an old instructor who use to take us years ago was back, she ran a killer class. It was awesome and we have her back next week to!
Well I have run out of brain cells so that’s it!
Night night – Bee

B’fast: duch rusks and tuna gormet dip.
Lunch: chicken and avo sandwich with small bite size sausage roll and chicken tender.
Dinner: Pea Wack and yoghurt

Day 15 - 16kg to go!

Bee Coz I…. am suppose to weigh in on a Sunday morning I decided to do so even though I had weighed in the other day just to check on Thursdays amount. To my surprise I have lost another Kilo! Got to be happy with that, although I would rather stick to my goal of .5 to 1kg per week it is nice to have a surprise like that at the start! So that’s 4kg in 2 weeks. I have worked hard for them.
I spent so much time at the gym yesterday I have lots to do in the house today. I put in a good hour at the gym this morning and did a bit of shopping.
Connie dropped in last night which was a nice surprise, we compared notes for the week and both recorded losses which is great! This is danger week for Connie as she usually caves in week 3 so fingers crossed she digs deep and gets through.
I went to the local sports shop to buy some new bathers as my good ones still have not turned up! So bet your bottom dollar they turn up tomorrow, ah well if they do it will be a bonus, I’m getting jack of putting on wet bathers at least I can rotate them now! When I was in the shop there was a load of tread mills lined up and I wanted a go of one, I think the gym bug has kicked in.
I made the best dinner tonight, rice paper rolls but I had Hoi Sin sauce with them, they were the real deal, better than the shops, I am so glad I had three left over for tomorrows lunch. I also whipped up a pan of Pea Wack so I have dinner sorted for tomorrow night- pays to be organized.
Tomorrow I start a course through work, it is catered for but I have decided to bring my own lunch because the food is usual amazing and packed with calories. So I will eat what I bring and just eat the fruit they always have at morning tea. I am not prepared to give back any of the 4 kg I’ve lost, the next day that I won’t worry about what I eat will be Christmas day.
- Bee

B'fast: Jalna drinking yoghurt and a few nuts.
Lunch: Dutch rusks with Tuna dip and a banana
Dinner: ricepaper rolls with hoi sin sauce.
Snack: small bowl of Pea Wack (i had to test it!)

Day 14- a blast from the past.

Bee Coz I…. had three drinks of diet coke last night I found it hard to sleep, then woke up at 5am, and bee coz I had eaten too much cheese last night I threw in a Zumba class as well as my planned water aerobics and body balance.

This morning was like a comedy of errors, first I got to Zumba with about 0 Seconds to spare because I could not fine my runners, and then I remembered they were in my car. Second I came home after class ripped my clothes off (well not literally) to put on my bathers and realized they were also in the car, so I had to put back on my stinky gym gear and go back out to the car. Then I turned up to water aerobics half an hour early. At least body balance went well!

Connie was missing in Action from water aerobics, i found out later she was at a day spa! well la de da (good on you Connie for treating yourself!)

Today I bumped into an old friend on face book, Paul. When I lived back in Brittan, I lived on a small Island, he lived on the mainland and used to come and stay with his brother, step mum and dad in the school holidays, a few doors down from my house.

We were besties and enjoyed summer holidays together from about the age of 8 to about 13, I was sad I never got to say good bye Paul as we left for Australia two weeks before summer holidays started, the year I turned 14. His step mum promised to tell him where I had gone, and she did.

Paul and I loved hanging out and telling silly stories together, when I was 10 (I think he may have been 11) he said probably one of the nicest things that any one has ever said to me, but first I have to let you know that there was a British TV show called Worzel Gummidge, it was about a scarecrow who used to come to life who befriended two kids and had adventures with them, he had a femme fetal called Aunt Sally, who was a fairground doll that also came to life. Weird but funny show!

Anyway we were sitting in a field opposite our houses when he turned to me and said “If I was Worzel Gummidge, would you be my Aunt Sally?” and I said “yes” we held hands where ever we went and he called me Sally and I called him Worzel. One holidays he brought me over a pencil that was pink and had Aunt Sally figure on the top so I would remember I was his Aunty Sally. Lol

And today I sent him a messaged when he commented on something that I had commented on and half expected him not to remember me, Paul wrote back “Yeah I remember u, moved to Australia. I remember being gutted when I went back there the year after and you had gone”

How nice is it to remember real friends like that, friends you had that you went six months without seeing each other and it didn’t matter no fights just lazy summer fun. How good is Face book that we can bump into these friends while on opposite sides of the world, and fill each other in on the last (too many) years in just minutes.

Well that a trip down memory lane for me,

Bee (Aunt Sally)

B’fast: veggie juice, fruit and cereal
Lunch: Smoked salmon, capers and light cream cheese on soy and linseed bread and a banana.

Dinner: Garlic mushrooms and asparagus (asparagus never made it to the plate I ate it)

Friday, October 15, 2010

Day 13 - Early treat night

using my chopsticks upside down!
Bee Coz I….went to a Trivia night in work, I have only just got home, had a fantastic day and it’s my day off training day (Carl at the Gym said it’s good to have a day off once a week) I really missed it though! Can’t wait to go tomorrow how funny is that.  Chose to count tonight as my treat night instead of tomorrow so had a few lollies and some cheese and crackers (probably too much) and enjoyed it
For the record my team won Trivia Night
Night night Bee
B’fast: Vegemite on toast (soy and linseed) nuts
Lunch: beans on toast (no joke) and 3 figs.

Day 11, crazy days

Bee Coz I….washed all my gym gear in one wash and forgot to keep one out for gym today I will be going in damp pants, ah well it will keep me cool!
Had a crazy day today, I think the rain brings out the crazy drivers, had to jam on the breaks a few times today on the way to work and had a car reverse in to my car while it was parked, got the guys details but its only minor damage.
I also forgot to take my lunch in to work today to I went to the local bakery which lucky for me sells sandwiches – very yummy ones at that! I really enjoyed it! Later in the day I turned on the TV at work to see the first miner coming up, how amazing is all that!
Then I came home and whipped up a dinner of halloumi cheese salad with asparagus and was dying to eat it when my phone rang, I love getting calls but I wanted to take a picture with my iphone so I had to wait until I finished the call to eat it.
I was telling the person who called that I had started a blog and that it was like a diary but on line and he asked if he was in it, I said I hadn’t done an entry on the bad influences in my life yet! So he wanted to be mentioned! And if he had not broken his computer he could read that I have mentioned him!
Then it was off to the gym, I did 15 mins on the cross trainer using the pre set fat burner program, and I lived! Might try that again tomorrow but for 20mins (maybe). Then I did body balance, then came home and did an unplanned run around my back garden in the rain for 10 mins, chasing the loopy dog, which was chasing the possums.
Then I caught up on Face book and almost made a huge typo when I realized I missed the “r” out of important and it looked a little too close for comfort to the word impotent!
Well I am starting to talk crapola now so I am off to bed
Night night Bee

B’fast: Vegemite on toast (soy and linseed) nuts
Lunch: ham cheese and salad roll
Dinner: Halloumi cheese and asparagus salad and I diet (1point) crème Brule with a few red grapes.

Tuesday, October 12, 2010

Day 10 - finding the right sauce!

Bee Coz I….was at the gym at 5.30am I am going to let myself off body pump tomorrow a.m. for two reasons
1)      I have done gym and deep water aerobics today.
2)      I am likely to drop a weight on my head as my arms are like jelly – my arms feel like Mr. Tickle’s look!
The bonus to being up at the crack of dawn is you get to see the morning sky, today it was red! Red sky in the morning sailors warning, and it was right the day started out beautiful and a storm chased me home from work at 5pm, lucky I hung the washing inside!
I am back on my vitamins and am now taking Salmon oil, I figure I am asking a lot of my body at the moment so the least I can do is give it a bit extra.
I had a great conversation with my twin brother today, I was telling him about the rice paper rolls I made and told him I wish I knew what the sauce was that you get with them at the restaurants, turns out he had been thinking the same thing and had done some extensive research (trial and error) and has found it, he is going to email me the brand. I’ll be making more on the weekend so I can’t wait. I won’t have to much sauce bee because it will be loaded!
I also had my first lunch out today at a lunch meeting, thank goodness there was minestrone on the menu and I chased it down with a diet coke! I didn’t even read past the entrées.
We had a laugh at deep water aerobics as well as some pain so it was a good sesh, followed my fav… a spa and now it’s the best time of the day…bed time! Fingers crossed the possums are quiet tonight.
Adios
-Bee

B’fast: vegemite on toast and dried figs (note, the figs were not on the toast!)
Lunch: minestrone soup and diet coke.
Dinner: Dutch rusks with cream cheese and a small can of tuna in brine (can’t do spring water)
Snack: a few grapes and a few prunes.

Monday, October 11, 2010

Day 9 - ignoring whats in my draw!

Bee Coz I…. had one hour T.I.L today I was home nice and early and in time to make dinner before going out to Zumba.
It was another great day at work today, we had a new staff member start today and it’s always nice getting to know new people. I was hungry a few times today, not sure why as I ate b’fast and lunch and I instinctively opened the top draw where I stash nice things, a wonderful aroma of rum and raisin chocolate found its way up my nostrils, It reminded me of the scene in Nemo where the shark at the Veggie support group breaths in a taste of blood and goes crazy. So what did I do? The only thing I could take a picture. It was a good distraction! For the record I also found a freddo frog! I’m not hot on Chocolate so it was easy to ignore.
My body made a good comeback from the Gym yesterday with only a little stiffness everywhere.  I had a great time at Zumba tonight and they played all my favorite tracks, so I finally felt like I knew what was going on! For a nice change.
Well I had better go put a load of washing on as although we are expecting a storm tomorrow it is still suppose to be 25oC so the washing will dry in the sun room!
Night Night – Bee

B’fast: Sultana bran
Lunch: soup, whole meal bread and diet crème Brule (1 point)
Dinner: chicken and lightly stir fried red and green capsicum, with banana on soy & linseed bread with a drizzle of honey.
Snack, lucky nuts and prunes

Day 8 (19 kg to go)

Bee Coz I….lost 1 kilo, I did a little dance in the bathroom this morning!
I am very happy with that because when I ramp up my exercise my body usually goes into shock and holds on to a bit of fluid just in case I might need it and the scales don’t move, but this time they did!.
To celebrate I went to the Gym at 8am, as its dead then and I had a new routine to try out! Sheesh it nearly killed me one of the exercises was ridiculously hard and I had to lower the weight down which was still hard. When I went back to my program I realized I was supposed to put it on the easiest resistance and I didn’t do that so I ended up doing the hardest setting! Ah well at least in know it will be easier next time!
After the gym I whipped up a scrumptious  lunch of Tai chicken fried rice minus coriander (only it wasn’t really fried!).
Then I was on babysitting duty and popped out to a local Family Fun day and strolled around also had a bit of a dance. It was a very warm day and nice to get out in the sun!
I had promised fish and chips for dinner (no I didn’t eat any) so no need to cook, I had Rivita with hummus and tomatoes and a diet yoghurt.
Then I called in to see Connie, she had lost weight too which is awesome, she had a big night out but managed not to eat too much and then did lots of dancing, good plan Connie!

Day 7 - a nice treat

Bee Coz I….am a nutter I got up and decided to do a water aerobics class, then body balance then I had my gym assessment.
Water aerobics was a great laugh, the instructor was funny, I like that because it makes the class go fast, we did one move which was a killer my arms were nearly like jelly after the class. Body balance always charges my mind and soul, it was a little harder than usual on account of the fact that I was a little spent from the class before but after a few tracks I was fine.
I was a bit anxious about the gym assessment but I needed to do one to get a gym plan so I had to bite the bullet and do one! The instructor Carl looked like an army sergeant so I filled in the half an hour I had between body balance and my assessment with a walk on the treadmill (I know insane) and I watched him assess someone and he looked very serious. Well my time came and I went in to the office, it felt like going in to the head masters office for a bollocking! Well it turned out that Carl was very nice! and after a quick chat and the setting of some goals we were away, he showed me all the machines I would be using and was impressed with my upper body strength, except my triceps which he put me on a low weight and said “we will work on that”. About half way through the session I felt the metal underwire in my bra snap and it dug in to me, by the end of the session I think I had been stabbed about 5 times and I now look like a pin cushion! Bra is now in the bin!
Whats in your shopping?
After the Gym I went to the shops and grabbed some things for the next four days, I was starving and greedily opened two packs of dried prunes and figs in the car and ate three of each, It was 2:00pm and I still had not had lunch.
Spent the arvo, doing boring house work and washing, then took the hound for a quick spin around the block, pulled some more weeds in the garden, then I cooked a delish dinner and settled in to watch some TV.
Once a week I am treating myself to two lollies and a Turkish Delight, so after a very busy day I enjoyed every mouthful!
Can’t wait to try out my new gym routine tomorrow :0)

Day 6 - no pics sorry!

Bee Coz I….a had my small presentation yesterday (which went very well!) the day just flew by, we had a great morning and all the planning worked out well. I took one hours TIL and left work at 4pm, not sure why be it always feels good leaving early on a Friday – like you getting a longer weekend!
Popped into Priceline on the way home and picked up some multi vitamins and some salmon oil capsules as they are full of omega  3 and good for all sorts, I have also noticed that the days when I ate salmon I was not looking for snacks between meals, but even I could not eat salmon every day for more than 4 days in a row!
There are no classes at the gym on a fri arvo and in a rare set of events, I got the house to myself so I chillaxed and watched some Tivo. Then  a nice surprise Connie popped over, we compared notes for the week and decided we are both doing stella! Connie tried some new vibrating steam sauna tank thing (can’t remember the name of it) but said she didn’t think it had done much for her. And hats off to Connie for doing a spin class! You won’t catch me doing one again!
No pics in today’s post sorry I just forgot to take any.
And thanks to anon. for my first comment x x

Day 5 - just say no!

Bee Coz I….am the only one in the house who likes smoked salmon, when I buy it I have to have it every day for a few days as I only use a small amount each time – not that I am complaining coz I L-O-V-E smoked salmon! So don’t think I am cutting and pasting meals to save time!
Another great day in the office today, I learned a lot. I have a small presentation tomorrow so I was doing research for that – got to love a day when you learn lots! The biggest challenge for the day was ignoring the goodies left in the kitchen at work it took all my might but I did it.
Then I stopped for fuel on the way home, ignored the lollies that were shouting “pick me, pick me” and paid for my fuel and the guy said, you get a free slurpee with that Noooooooooo I love them so I took a deep breath and said no thanks, now a good mum would have brought it home for her child, but I read the book as a child about the pancake that rolled away and the little boy, man, hen, dog, cat all chased it as it rolled through town and ended up on the nose of a pig who  could not resist it and just ate it! and just knew that’s what would happen, I would not be able to resist it!
I worked late and just made it home for zoomba, now you know you are in trouble when the instructors first words are “I have been on holiday and have some calories to burn so let’s do lots of cardio” but we had a laugh the instructor was so funny, she is my fav.
Well that’s enough crapola for one night so it’s over and out!

Day 4 - short post

Bee Coz I….did deep water last night my abs were sore today! But not too bad.
Had a great day which started out all sunny and ended up wild with thunder and lightning – got to love spring!
Not much goss today, fell into my car while trying to avoid a big puddle and called Connie by accident all at the same time, see I can multi skill with the best of them, Connie just laughed and apologised for not being there to take a pic for me, I took a pic of the puddle which I did avoid.
No exercise today due to a late night meeting, at which I avoided choc chip cookies and potato chips – I just kept sipping my water!
Had a yummy fast dinner tonight as I only had 10mins at home before I went out!
Happy to be eating healthy
Well that’s it for the night I am going to the land of nod.

Day Three: funny times in the spa!

Bee Coz I…. fell asleep five mins after turning on the TV I watched no com games! No surprise there.
Had a great sleep – slept like a log, woke at the right time today and enjoyed a little play in the garden with Leo before heading out to work. Had a great day in work (I Love my job) was inspired by my peers and shocked when I looked at the clock and it was 5.05pm and time to go home.
Traffic was a little crazy coming home and Hamish and Andy were not as funny as usual today, never mind I did get a chuckle seeing a man just getting into his posh silver car being pooed on by a shitehawk (sea gull) he was not impressed but that was one red light I was glad to be stuck at.
Raced home and cooked dinner for Billy had stake, mash and veggies. Was just tucking in to my dinner when I turned on the TV to see it was 6.45pm and I was meeting Connie at deep water running at 7pm. I shoved in the last piece of asparagus and put on my still wet old bathers from yesterday and raced to the pool – thank you green light fairy, I made it on time.
It was an awesome class, Billy’s old sports teacher takes the class and it was nice to catch up with her. It was not nice however having tuna and asparagus coming up and down all session (to much info I know).
Had a nice spa afterwards, and another chuckle when a lady got into the spa at the end that has a broken gate. She got in defying a sign, danger tape and three cones and it caused a bit of a commotion. The funny bit was when Connie said while rolling her eyes “Barb is she Asian, I can’t see without my glasses on”. For the record Connie was right.

Well it’s time to watch a bit of TV (Parenthood) so I have set up my best friend TIVO to tape it for me for when I fall asleep.
Nigh night, my one follower.
